Photography, my connection to the world of art, is something I've pursued for decades, but mainly since retiring in 2010. As for labels, street photographer fits me best, though nature would be close behind. And since I was a Peace Corps volunteer in the 1970s, travel photography ranks up there too. I've lived in Shepherd Park DC for nearly 40 years and have a number of connections with Takoma Park, in particular (while it still existed) Art Hop with which I displayed photos for 5-6 years. In fact, my photos from the last Art Hop remain on display at KinDa. The one below from that collection just sold a few weeks ago.
