Judy Jaffie

I discovered ceramics during college, and have returned to it as time allowed over my 40 years living in Takoma Park. I started by throwing functional ware, and have migrated to making small sculptural pieces. These have appeared in shows in the TP Municipal Building and the Back Wall gallery.

I've always been inspired by the sea. I endeavor to make pieces with the feel of that environment, without literally representing fish and sea creatures.
